I am a big fan of grilled cheese (any cheese) on sourdough with sautéed onions and a little fig jam.

Amy's tomato soup on the side.

My favorite hot sandwich is always a reuben. Mmm, so good, I might make one tonight. I tend to substitute pastrami for corned beef and mix ketchup/mayo instead of using Russian dressing, just because of the ingredients I usually have on hand. Still delicious.

I recent saw a recipe for a stove top ham, Turkey, Swiss and mustard sandwich on hoagie roll that I made and found quite nice.
