That was my first thought too.

This was me. I had to keep dyeing ever 2-3 weeks and just gave up. I have black hair with a long white/gray streak in the front.

They have multiple shades of black now. The brown-black looks very natural and it’s a semi-permanent so you don’t get a hard line.

Use a root touch up kit every couple of weeks. Easy peasy.

Go to a beauty supply store and pick up some tubes of demi-permanent color (water matches the rest of your hair), and a bottle of developer. Mix a small amount of the color and the corresponding amount of developer, apply to your white patch. That's it. If yyou only have a small are that you are dying, a single tube of color should last you 3-4 applications. And yes, I know that the tube says you have to use it all at once, but I don't find that to be true, especially for a dark brown/black color.

I would go to Madison Reed (all they do is color) and have them do it the first time. Then, once you have the right color, just order it from them for mail delivery and do it yourself.

I feel like you are lucky to be Asian because it should be easy to match your hair with boxed dye. I use Revlon dye that is $3.50 a box. Nice and cheap so you can touch up as often as you need. Should be super easy.

Bigen. You can use the powdered dye and mix just enough to cover the patch. It can be done once a week.

There is a 1 inch area o my temple that is turning white. The rest of my hair is black. Any tips on dyeing this area? I am Asian. Thanks!
