Baltimore City or Baltimore County? I am in the city. I know there are others here. It's also good to have representation because alot of people come here to learn about areas before moving etc.
We are county. So many problems with teacher shortages, and then there’s the problem that one of the local high schools has received repeated anonymous threats lately. I’m guessing a lot of similar issues are hitting all the districts though. I’m feeling quite glum these days about the state of our schools.
What pyramid are you in? I graduated from Owings Mills 15 years ago and it was a mess then. I have been following the news coverage about all the school violence and it si depressing. We are looking to move out if Baltimore City over the summer for public schools. I was looking in the County but I am very hesitant.

For example, our school just canceled a long-standing holiday tradition (after also not reinstating the Halloween parade post Covid).
This would have been a 20 page thread in the MCPS forum which would ultimately devolve into “MAGAT” and “L*btard” name calling.
Here, we’re more likely to just roll with it.
What school? I would like to go to there.

’m in Calvert County. I check here every now and then, but this forum isn’t popular in Calvert as far as I can tell, so it’s never about Calvert.Anonymous wrote:Just wondering which places are represented here.
