I have had the occasional pain around my C-section scars (from 2007 and 2009). I asked my doctor and she said it was likely scar tissue related. It depends how you scar but it can pull sometimes.

I’ve had 3 c sections and yes, sometimes I feel a little pulling like this. I don’t think it’s an issue. Only if it gets worse…

2 C-sections (bikini like style, not sure if it would be different with an emergency c-section/ vertical cut) and have never felt irritation from ab work or any exercise. Agree with above poster that maybe you pulled something or irritated something else..

No problems here other than occasional itchiness on the scar line. Section was in 2014 and I'm at the gym doing different things a ton.

I had C-sections in 2014 and 2016 and do a lot of ab work and have not "felt" anything in that area once it was fully healed. I wonder if you just pulled a deep muscle a bit or something else along those lines.

Last week I did a routine that involved scissor kicks and lifting/sitting up from a laying down position. The next day, I thought I had a hernia! I had pressure (not pain) in my lower abdomen and my bladder was irritated when I urinated. A little stinging sensation when seated too. In two days, all was better and haven't felt anything since. That "stinging" I had was something I felt when my c-section was healing, back in December 2015. My only thought is that somehow this particular core exercise (and I won't do it again) really irritated that area, even after so many years. Otherwise, I can't figure out what this was. I'll be going for my annual GYN soon and will mention this, but curious to know if others can irritate the c-section area. I imagine there must be scar tissue and the like that could be set off.
