Really? Have you retained your nannies long term? I was a nanny for 3 families over 15 years and always received a 1-2 week bonus as did almost all of my nanny friends.

Hi all,

We have a new nanny (started within the last month) and she seems great so far. I know one weeks pay is standard on an on going basis, what’s appropriate holiday bonus for a new employee? I was think 25% of a week? I want to do the expected appropriate thing, but also don’t want to set an expectation that we would do like 4 weeks pay next year because that’s not our plan. Thanks!
