This is true for my DS. Also, he did way better on ACT (also no test prep).

Mine went up to 1350 junior fall after prep but hadn’t finished all the sections on PSAT in 10th. Haven’t heard yet on this year’s psat. Same math situation.

Is the PSAT 8/9 graded the same way? My freshman took it earlier this year.

I think the general rule of thumb I read on College Board is that it will go up 100 pts each year without test prep etc

My DC just got results. 1020 for 10th grade. No prep, currently in Algebra 2H. To the experienced parents, with a normal prep class - nothing over the top, what could we hope for SAT results? I'm not sure how to use this information, and would love real life experience. I would hope it would improve especially once A2H is done, but not sure what is realistic.
