i would do some testing. I had 5 failed FETS (untested) in a row after my first DD and my new doctor found a small benign polyp. She was like - well it doesn't LOOK like it's causing any harm but let's get rid of it. got pregnant with DD2 next cycle (also untested). Fluke? maybe.
I believe her quote was "let's check your garden before we plant anymore seeds"

I had to failed FETs with PGT normal embryos. The first was an early miscarriage and the second was a straight up fail. I think in my case it was just bad luck and the third stuck. For the third, my Dr added baby aspirin, prednisone, and a round of antibiotics.

After the hysteroscopy did they confirm that there was no retained tissue and no scarring? Did you do a follow up saline sonogram? The treatment for ashermans is done through a hysteroscopy so it seems like ashermans should have been ruled out after the hysteroscopy you already had. Also you might do an endometrial biopsy to see if the retained placenta caused an infection in the uterine lining.

With two failed normals and an ERA, I’d absolutely pause and do as much testing as you can. Agree with banking embryos if you are willing and able. Sometimes it’s just bad luck, but often there’s something very obscure going on and it’s sort of a needle in a haystack to figure out what it is. I know people that finally had success doing a semi-immune “kitchen sink” FET protocol. Not a ton of science behind it, but if it works then it works.

When you say failed do you mean you miscarried or they didn’t implant? Why do suspect ashermans? Also my advice on next steps would need to be informed by your age. If time is of the essence then maybe would try to bank. If you’re miscarrying how far into the pregnancy are you getting?

…And one ERA in between. I only have two normal embryos left (and was hoping for more than one child but that is looking slim now). What would you do? Transfer to a different clinic or stick it out and hope the numbers game works? Should I test for Ashermans? Test for anything else?
