I can’t justify the waste. I absolutely love my Italian moka and my milk frother. I’ve had my moka for 2 decades. Still makes the best espresso.

I have seen Nespresso compatible pods in both Target and Costco.

Amazon also sells them. So easy.

I love Starbucks' Flat Whites. What would be the best coffee maker to duplicate that?

Wegman’s and Target have store brands. Peet’s and Starbucks have a line, too.

I love the original but don’t like the Vertuo’s coffee.

The espresso (original) pods are available at Trader Joes, Target, Costco. Even Starbucks sells them. The ones we've been buying are about 75 cents each.

Nespresso is pretty good but, as noted above, pods are costly and are also limited in variety. An alternative, which will be more expensive, might be an entry-level superautomatic which allows you to make a range of coffee drinks using any whole bean coffee variety you like, although in general you do have to stay away from darker, oily roasts which can gum up integrated bean grinders.

Love my nespresso but the pods are so expensive. We were going through 5-6 a day. It’s so much better than a keurig though

I still love my Nespresso - going on 3 years (bought it at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic).

I, like an earlier poster, make lattes with it. My warm, cozy treat.

10 years ago I would have said Nespresso. I dont love their new machines and their customer service is now 50/50 good/bad. The coffee vertuo pods are awful. Learned that the hard way and they seem to be moving away from the espresso towards coffee/larger portions. I dont want a coffeemaker- if I did I would buy a coffeemaker. I like lattes hence an espresso maker. Next time I will just save for a Jura or Breville.

I love my Nepresso. I do still have drip coffee maker too, but the Nespresso is what I use daily. Mine makes real espresso, not coffee, which I drink with hot milk in a latte or straight up.
It is much better tasting than the machines that use plastic K cups (like kuerig).
Its on sale now - lots of holiday deals
