I think the Booker long list is more interesting than the short list (or winner) often the ones I enjoyed the most don't make the short list.

Book Eaters has so much potential, but it flopped. I can't believe it's on the NPR list. Truly, the work of the PR folks at the publisher.

Each year I look forward to the lists from NPR, the Booker Prize Winners, Barack Obama’s reading lists, and a few others — mostly from Independent book stores.
