I have no problem with Amazon and the people who work their can work anywhere they want to. Why is it their fault people work there?

They aren't pulling people in and saying you have to work here.

I wonder if Amazon moved to the White Flint area would he be outside everyday with his microphone protesting?

Giant’s workers are unionized I thought and you don’t normally hear about them doing the crazy scheduling Amazon does.

Giant corporate HQ used to be in Bethesda but now is in Hyattsville.

It’s interesting that they’re out there protesting Amazon Fresh but not Whole Foods. We can all fill in the dots as to why.

It’s also interesting that Amazon has an affordable housing financing program that is has used to support housing at metro stations in PG County but not Montgomery.

It’s just more idiotic liberal stuff.

Unlike YIMBY housing champion Hans Riemer who *checks notes* has also not only fought housing affordability in the county but has used leadership roles in the Council as chair of the PHED committee to do so.

Elrich never chaired PHED and housing is a Council responsibility not a CE responsibility.

This tweet sums up all that is wrong with this man's approach to business development. He thinks he is protesting against the establishment, and fails to realize he "is" the establishment.

A County Executive should be working directly with Amazon Fresh to work out incentives to increase hourly wages above the starting $15.75/hour. But he just nasty tweets instead and looks like a doofus joining in on a mini street protest.
