Besides freezing and making smoothies, freezing allows you to make 'healthy' ice cream:

This happened to me and we ended up donating many to a food bank…

My teens love cooked bananas. Cut off stem. Banana (preferably older) with peel in microwave for a few minutes. Open and scoop out soupy/soft/hot inside. Add small amount of brown sugar on top. Looks and smells gross to me but fairly healthy and kids love it. To give you an idea, we had a ton of bananas over tgiving. After breakfast we had used 6 for two kids on this recipe.

Another teen favorite: lightly coat 3/4 of the sides of a banana, 3/4 of the way down the length with peanut butter. Sprinkle on peanuts.

Even my non banana loving kids adore these things.

I think my kids would eat banana and nutella sandwiches at every meal if we'd let them.

Oh and sliced banana coated in powdered sugar and deep fried. Good on French toast, ice cream, etc.

I let DH top off our grocery order and he accidentally ordered 6 bunches of bananas instead of a bunch of 6, in total.

I know I can peel and freeze them for smoothies and baking later, but curious to hear other ideas to make use of some of them now. My typical rotation includes smoothies, bread, muffins and pancakes but curious to hear of some other, more creative ideas. Sure, the whole family loves a good banana for a snack but l'd like to incorporate some new preparations. Any and all ideas welcome cause my fruit bowl literally runneths over!
