I doubt FL tickets for going 9 over would affect a VA license and even if it did, in Virginia you get safe points on your license for not receiving a ticket so you're probably +5 anyway.

Wrong.That’s a great advice. Always get a lawyer and fight the ticket. Most traffic lawyers would charge $500-$1000
This is nothing compared to the damage that the points could do to you.

Pay the fine, slow down.

I doubt 9 over will raise your rates, if there’s even any reciprocity in ticket reporting between states, which there sometimes isn’t.

I got a speeding ticket in another state driving 9 over. I have a VA driver's license. Do o get points for this? Do I pay the fine, go to a class (in-person, virtual?)? What do I need to know?
