A Bordeaux or a côtés du Rhône would be nice, especially as we’re going into winter. Trader Joe’s has a number of good possibilities. I’ve had good luck asking for suggestions from the staff at Trader Joe’s- never been steered wrong.

+1 to Pinot Noir

A Pinot Noir from Sonoma or Oregon will be well received.

Will be visiting a friend one day while back home for Thanksgiving, a friend’s husband’s parents house. I know they are wine drinkers but have no clue what type they usually drink. What’s a nice type/bottle I could buy that would be easily found (Trader Joe’s or the grocery store) that would hopefully be well received? Thanks!
