Any coin shop, no pawn shops, use CoinFacts app to look up price so they don’t screw you on it

Agree with prior posters. Look through to see if any have silver content. Those are worth much more than face value….l

If any of them are 1964 or earlier, they are worth at least 10-20 times face value. A Kennedy half-dollar is probably worth 5-10 times face value. I agree with above that you should contact a coin shop. They will lowball you but it's better than trying to spend it at Starbucks. If you really want to get the best value out of them, consider selling on eBay. That's the best way to cut out the middleman and earn the most from your sale.

I would suggest that you at least look and see if you have any Kennedy half dollars between 1964-1970. The 1964 is something like 90% silver and is worth approximately $10 while 1965-1970 are worth about $5.

I have a several pound bag of coins that are left after a Coinstar run to take out the standard coins. A lot of it left is various half and silver dollars. I know some of these are worth a little more than face value but probably none are that rare. I'd be happy getting face value. I don't want to roll them. Just slow spending them would be annoying as I usually use credit cards. Is there a place to just get them converted to cash (with a fee is fine).

Arlington ideally but Fairfax, DC, and MoCo are possible. Just low effort to dispose of without just giving them away.
