Which is absurd. If that's the case, then the schools need to provide Cogat prep classes in 2nd grade. SMH
Yeah, but tons of kids who aren’t in-pool still get admitted. The GBRS is probably more important than COGAT scores anyway.

This varies by school and many AARTs either don't know or won't tell you the cut-off. You just have to wait and see if you get an in-pool notification.
Got it. Do you know if that letter comes before the 12/14 due date? I assume that it won't come that quickly so will just get all of the paperwork ready for the application. I just wish there were more clarity here.
Probably won't come before so you should do the referral. Even if you are in pool, you should do the referral. If you are on the cusp--which I am guessing ot be the case if you are sking about cutoffs, you should definitely do the referral. To conclude, do the referral.
And DC scored fine but not great so am not expecting much. WE'll see. Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The COGAT scores have been released. Does anyone know what the automatic referral minimum score is for COGAT? And is it the VQN total number that is used? TIA!
