Official GPA and WGPA apply to semester grades as shown on the transcript. It doesn’t apply to quarterly report card grades. 9th graders don’t have a transcript generated until after the 1st semester in HS, at which point it will also include courses taken in MS. The document is called the SGGCR and will appear under documents. I think it is generated at the end of each semester (including after summer).

Weighted GPA is pretty meaningless. Schools that care don't care about it - they do their own weighing.

I found that document in ParentVUE. It was posted a few days after the report card.

Not on the report cards. There is another document that the counselors are supposed to send home twice a year which is a graduation credit report, and it includes the weighted and unweighted GPA.

Is this reported on the report cards in high school? My child's first report card in HS does not seem to calculate it. Thanks!
