you need to get a conditioner with a lot of slip.

Try briogeo conditioner (expensive) or shea moisture conditioner.

Use the tangle teezer and start from the ends. Section her hair in 4. Then detangle each section.

It just seems to stay on the surface of the hair and doesn’t get between the strands. Is yours like a rubbery material that is bendable?

that one, or something like it, its the only thing my kids have gotten on board with and i've tried it myself its pretty crazy. Don't just get any curved one though it needs those boar bristles.

Use a wide tooth comb.

You need a good detangling spray + wet brush. For nights, put it way way up on the top of her bed in a satiny scrunchy - REALLY helps keep hair smoother over night.

It's the best we've found. You need to use conditioner, and then probably some kind of leave-in conditioner or detangling spray. Always brush when wet, and put hair in ponytail or braids as much as possible (and always when sleeping).

My kid has slightly wavy shoulder length hair and it gets insane knots. We use the wet brush. Is there a better option?
