That is 100% correct. I would list everything out other than minor traffic tickets (speeding, parking) and add info on expungement, etc. Follow what people on Flyertalk are saying. They are the experts when it comes to minute details around air travel.

From what I have heard generally, if you list everything out truthfully, and it's well in the past, you have a good shot. The problem comes for those who don't disclose something, and then CBP finds it in the background check.

Not sure about the DUI, but the theft should be okay.

They knew more than I expected and decided my global entry would be the long and inquisitive path.

I am asking the DCUM crystal ball what my husband and I's chances are of getting approved for global entry.

Me: Arrest for theft at age 17 (2000). Went through diversion program so it never went on my record. There was no court. No conviction. 12 years ago (when I applied for the bar) the only info available was the phone call record from when someone reported it to the police. Current federal employee.

Husband: Arrest for DUI in 2005 or so (can't remember the exact year). Was pled down to obstructing traffic and he paid a fine.

Do we have any hope? I applied before I realized they were so strict! (Guess I just assumed stuff from years ago wouldn't matter but read posts on the internet about DUI convictions from 40 years ago resulting in a denial). I guess at least my kids will be approved lol.
