Been years since my kids were there but each grade used to have a lunch time. Lower grades especially had to stay at the assigned tables with their class.
I haven’t had a kid there for several years, but the school used to be so crowded that only one grade could fit in the cafeteria at a time. Lunch periods were 35 minutes long, as was recess, so while one grade had lunch, another had recess. Because there were 6 separate 35 minute lunch times, the first lunch time was 10:20 in the morning and the last was 1:15. It’s hard to have lunch less than 90 minutes after school starts.
The enrollment has shrunk to the point where it’s not really overcrowded anymore, but I don’t know if they can accommodate 2 grades in the cafeteria at a time, so they might still have similar lunch times.

The school used to be bursting at the seams and parents complained of chaos at lunchtime and recess. I know many families who have pulled their kids from there in recent years. But I don't actually know anyone with kids in the lower grades at the moment!
You do realize you could have just not answered? It wasn't a question personally directed at you.
