You should have received a copy of a lien release letter and/or new clear title from Nissan.

Op here - oh my... I didn't know clean and clear are two different. in that case, according to google, i really meant clear - one that showing i am the sole owner of the car. the car has never been in an accident. thanks folks.

So a clean title = the vehicle has never been declared a total loss by an insurance co.#
Meaning not a salvaged title.
And a clear title = that the vehicle if free + clear from any liens on it.
So the OP was specifically asking about a CLEAR title….not an actual clean one.

Subject: Clean title question
A “clean title” is a term generally used to indicate that the vehicle has not been declared a total loss by an indursnce company as the result of a crash, flood, etc. It is used to differentiate vehicles with a “rebuilt” or “salvage/branded” title. It does not indicate that the vehicle has never been damaged and repaired (“no accident”).

You are wrong.
Correct. A clean title means that the vehicle is owned free and clear of any liens (loans) against it.
