I like to make a rosemary-orange old fashioned. I make my own simple syrup with water, sugar, orange slices, and a rosemary sprig. When that’s done, cooled, and strained, I mix like a couple teaspoons with 2 oz of bourbon and a splash of bitters. Pour over ice and garnish with orange slice and small clump of rosemary needles. It’s the perfect seasonal drink!
I make cranberry sauce with real cranberries and grand marnier.
Then I use a scoop of it to take drinks:
Cranberry and champagne
Cranberry, seltzer and rum
Cranberry and whiskey
Cranberry and rum chata blended with a sugar rim for a sweet drink
I’m so excited about it

Cranberry Moscow mule would be my go-to! Or make mimosas with apple cider instead of OJ if you’re starting the festivities earlier in the day.
I think anything with flavors like cranberry, apple, vanilla, ginger, or cinnamon would be festive. Rosemary if you want to do something herby, or as a garnish.

I thought I might try to serve something fun, in addition to wine. Any suggestions?
