Why WJ and not Winston C?

Nobody calls it Winston C. It's just Churchill which unlike Walter Johnson or WJ doesn't have a W.

Anyone who really worries about this is too insecure and immature. You like my tween kids who have to be "better" than everyone else, even when they are doing well.

My senior is at WJ and he has consistently had excellent and rigorous teachers. WJ also has a large offering of AP courses, even AP Latin. He was at another school for his 11th grade, and the difference in instructional rigor was palpable.

We have friends in the BCC and WW cluster: BCC doesn’t have as many good teachers (and has way less APs because it also has IB - fewer advanced courses total). WW has a similar number of APs as WJ and equally rigorous teachers.

Don’t know about other Bethesda/Potomac MCPS schools.
