I don’t think so (any more). My current APS 8th grader had US History in 6th, civics/Econ in 7th, & now world geography in 8th. I think 9th will be world history.

Anonymous wrote:I have only taught 4th and 5th grades. I’d have to do a side by side of the 4th grade standards but it looks similar- VA Studies. However 5th is completely different. We have been doing world history and that is not even in the standards- it would now be early American history, some of which would be redundant with VA Studied the year before.
