I use mine, then I roll it up and put it away. I don't wipe it unless I was dripping sweat. And even then .... not often.

Every so often I notice my top mat is dirty, so I throw it in the washer and then hang it dry outside, and go on with my day.

Bathtub with a few drops of dish soap a few times a year. I just wipe with a baby wipe or wet washcloth otherwise.

You do realize people practice at different levels. I do bikram 3 days a week just for the sweat.

I have a few of a Manduka eco mats which are rubber based. You have to be very careful with what you use on them. If you tells what kind of mat you use, we probably can help you better.

Thank you! My mat is a maduka mat - brand new. I'd like to spray it daily after use.

Yoga teacher/studio manager here - It depends on the type of mat. I like Odoban (highly diluted) because it kills everything. Jade mats are notoriously difficult to clean. I soak mine in the tub with a little Dawn. Air dry indoors. You do not want to expose your Jade mat to the sun.

Please recommend your favorite yoga mat cleaner.
