Which exam are you asking about? There are many different exams you can sign up for, for different languages (see the document linked above).

I'm asking specifically about the German test. (Unless three or four years of a language is enough to be able to take the test. In that case, he could also test in Chinese and French.)

Yes, just coming to say the same thing. My spouse is Latino, but didn't grow up speaking Spanish. My daughter had 7 years of Spanish and was able to get the seal of biliteracy through her AP scores. It is pretty exciting for all of us to see the language that was lost through the generations (due to policies and just people one off saying things like "Speak English!!!) has been reclaimed. She loves languages and is good at them and I hope she works on another one!

Yes, if they score 4 or higher on the AP exams, that qualifies.

DS signed up for it, but has not taken a class in his bilingual language through MCPS. He just took the AP exam and scored 5. If anyone could point me to practice questions for this test, I would appreciate it!
