Thank you so much for this! My daughter would love it — I wish we had heard about it sooner. She is a junior now and is really struggling to figure out if she should be looking at computer programs for college or not.

Technica is an all female (and female identifying) hackathon at umd. It happens in fall (done for this year). It's part slumber party, part competition. Lots of mentorship, sponsorship and support. Super fun. Hasn't been fully back in person yet, but maybe next year.
