Every single woman I know who has lost more than 50 lbs has done it with gastric surgery. I know know 5. Most of them wont admit it.

You don’t have any idea how she got that way to begin with. Could be a metric ton of alcohol and a lot of stress and garbage food. Not everybody needs to become beholden to big pharma to lose weight. Though I do think it’s great people have that option if they want to take it.

My dr gave me a prescription but it looked like to get the discount I have to agree to getting texts from a company and I think the fine print said it may be 30 texts a day.

My pcp wont give it to me bc it’s new and he doesn’t know that much about it. He also said it can cause low blood sugar. I am wondering how else I can get it. I don’t want to go to specialist for it.

Do you have type 2? Or headed that way? I have suspected PCOS but no insulin resistance. My dr said insurance wouldn’t cover me.

I would like to try it but have heard it's very expensive if you're not getting it for diabetes. If I were super obese I might pay whatever they want but I have about 50 lbs to lose, which is not super obese no matter what some others may think, and I can't really afford to pay hundreds of dollars a month to try it.

Started at 173lb at the end of July, currently 150lb. No terrible side effects, just occasional headaches and some fatigue.
