So, a student will need to either double up on English, Math, Science, or Social Studies, or take a Foreign Language, Comparative Religions or Philosophy.
In addition, 10 of the credits a student earns must be in the first 7 semesters,
A student who takes 4 years each of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, all from the approved list that each school has (note: not every course will be approved) would not need to take foreign language to be eligible, although a HS diploma is also required, and some high school systems require FL for that, whereas others, like MCPS give you a choice of FL or career related electives.
Do you have a link for this? Thanks!
