You might want to call his insurance company with that question to be sure. Or the fertility clinic. They would know.

Why not just get on his insurance for everything?

I am a federal employee and therefore have no medical insurance that covers IVF. However, my husbands insurance through his employer covers IVF. I would like to keep my insurance (it's very cheap and provides great coverage for everything except infertility) and also use his as my secondary insurance plan while doing ivf in 2023. Just trying to figure out if there is any concern his insurance wouldn't pick up the infertility treatments because I have a primary insurance? I hope this makes sense. Maybe this shouldn't matter but would love some confirmation!

Primary insurance: GEHA
Secondary insurance: BCBS
