We go out of town on Thanksgiving each year, as do many of our friends. So we host a Friendsgiving beforehand.
This is part of the problem and why creeps like you and many of your friends are running thanksgiving!!! If you are headed out of town you do your one holiday you are headed to!! That’s it! You don’t extend it by weeks like a greedy freaking privileged piece of puke. So tired of this!!! It’s ONE day!! No more!
A little harsh, but I agree. Who wants two heavy holiday meals in quick succession? A friend proposed doing Friendsgiving this year and I was so glad it was shot down by pretty much everyone. We typically invite friends who aren’t going home when we host, and pretty much every family member who hosts has also had friends.
