This is my experience currently applying to 3 well-known privates in DC. They are not seeking transcripts beyond the first quarter of this school year.

We are n the same boat and we asked the schools. Some may want just the previous year, some the previous year plus first quarter and some the previous year plus first quarter and then an update to the file once second quarter is complete.

you just tell them it will come in a bit later. they dont even look at it until beg of Feb. I know

I am not sure the answer but my kid’s school sends grades from more than 1 year (I think 3, or 2.5 if you will).

Our child is applying for 6th and the deadline for school materials is early January but DC's school's second quarter won't be finished by then. Does that mean they are basing admissions off of just the first quarter this year?
Will schools typically accepted an updated transcript after the deadline or is that only considered if the child is waitlisted?
