Your child needs to log into the portal and school website and see what it says. My DS had to update something at one school and that was how it was done. If, after carefully reading all the online information, he can't figure it out (because it might not say), he can email the admissions office and ask how to update his application.

I don’t think there’s a way to update. But your DC can email the admissions office with an update on their application. Whether it’s worth doing depends on the school you applied to and the award. It’s harder to get the attention of the admissions office at a big state school and if the award is just a random award at school, I wouldn’t bother. But if it’s a national level award and smaller school, I would definitely email school.

My kid recently won an award in an EC and was wondering if he should notify the EA schools where he has submitted applications? Is there a level at which an award needs to meet to do so? And if worth doing, how does one update a submitted app?

He is asking his guidance counselor but figured this board may have thoughts.

TIA.
