I just saw this post with the link? Why would you buy yourself a manacle that you can’t put on or remove yourself?

I can perhaps see it as a substitute for a wedding band or collar, although it would decidedly not be my preference. However, you’re buying it for yourself so it doesn’t represent a fixed commitment to anyone. Even if you have the jeweler put it on, what are you going to do if you want/need to get it off?

No. Buy something below $500 and invest rest in treasury bonds. If you are loaded then pay somebody's hospital bill or house rent.

Are you being sincere or is this sarcasm?

There are options with diamonds but it’s way more expensive that way.

The fact that all your friends have one is a good reason to pass on this trend.

I am contemplating a Cartier love bangle. Classic gold. My question is whether or not this item is a staple, a necessity, and something that is timeless and worth it. (All of my friends have them, and none of them had to buy it for themselves. I would be purchasing this for myself.)
