Yeah. Eggs are up again and there isnt a shortage. Ive been getting lucky at costco. They have had $1.99 a dozen for medium sized ones sometimes.

My husband's coffee creamer used to be 6 for $20. Now it's 2 for $10. Coffee is steadily creeping up. I buy butter at Sam's Club and freeze it.
All non-refrigerated items I try to buy online. A lot of stores are offering online only prices. Everything else my husband buys at the store. Cat food has gone up $5 for the brand we use. Anything plastic is ridiculously over priced. I shop around and avoid paying for shipping. Doing your homework on shelf life helps plan and buy.
I saw this coming 2 years ago and started prepping. I figured either the prices would rise or diesel prices would cause shortages. It is now happening.
I have a walk in pantry full and two closets converted into mini pantries. I replace anything we use. Including medicine/vitamins, paper goods.
The commodity reports did not lie. Every single food and non food item they alerted on is confirming all the reports.
One of the main reasons my husband and I make sure family has what they need. You never know. One day, even if you have money, what you are looking for will not be on the shelf.
It looks like the situation may not get better soon. Buy now or hurt the pocketbook. Food is usually the first thing people try to cut because it's the only thing they can somewhat control. It breaks my heart. I wish I had endless money to help anyone needing help.

Yeah it has been crazy lately. I have never bothered with caring too much about grocery prices since I left college 15 years ago but I am finally taking note.

I recently discovered that Food Lion (a store I stopped going to when I left the south 20 years ago) has very low prices comparatively in this area.

Finding a small packet of almond flour at $15 is scary. This is just one example of my recent shopping experience around Whole Foods.
I thank Costco for carrying a certified gluten-free pizza, organic cacao powder and good olive oil.

I was at grocery store today and I had the same thought! It’s like there was another jump all of a sudden.

Yes, every time I go to the store it seems like things are more expensive. We are a high HHI family and I am definitely adjusting purchases due to cost. No more Nellie's eggs. Way less meat (which is a good thing anyway).

I just went to two grocery stores today and holy moly, the price of most things I buy seem to have jumped again.

Is anyone else feeling the same way? I know prices have been rising a bit but..

I stopped using a price book a while ago but I think I will have to go back to it.
