A lot of them. Don't fall into the propaganda that there are no discounts and everything is above sticker. Dealers are also trying to dump inventory as they don't want to be stuck with expensive cars when recession hits.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy a 2022. There should not be much 2022 left over, all should be sold. There were barely any cars available this year. Most people preordered and picked up. If it is not sold, how many people test drove that car?

Wait until 2023 gets on the lot. They will discount any 2022 vehicles they have on the lot to move them.

The caveat to this is that they need cars sitting on the lot to move them. Most dealerships don't have any inventory just sitting around, particularly for popular vehicles (SUVs, crossovers, EVs, etc.)

If you're willing to buy a sedan, you will have room to negotiate. Of course, you'll have to take whatever colors or trim packages they have on the lot.

Lots of new cars are going for below MSRP, just not the popular ones.
