If I have no leftover rice, I make fresh rice and stick in the freezer for 30 min. It works pretty well. Same with noodles before I pan fry them.

Leftover rice is just dryer and works better for jt.

Frying leftover rice gives a nice caramelized crust that’s tasty. Soggy fried rice is no good.

I never have leftover rice. Can I just ... use the frozen rice from Trader Joe's that you microwave and then it's ready? Or is there something about putting it in a frying pan that's special?
