The Friendship Heights one has a small produce section with most of the basics. They have a small butcher / meat area as well as prepackaged meat, chicken, and (mostly) frozen seafood.

Apples come in a bag. I bought a bag of potatoes for about $5, and a bunch of lettuce for $1.99.

You can also by them by the single piece, such as for bananas and apples.

I couldn't find everything I needed. For example, very few baking supplies, and the canned cat food selection was pitiful.

It took several hours for a receipt to be emailed to me. It was all correct.

Besides the zillions of cameras, the other deterrent to me going back is that it was absolutely freezing in there on a 65 degree fall day.

I went to the CC one too. There was a decent produce section with fresh items at good prices. They didn’t have bananas however. I also did not get my receipt until several hours later and was concerned that I somehow left without paying. It was my first time there so I didn’t know what I was doing. The receipt had two items I did not buy and I simply asked for a refund by checking the “did not buy” box. It was easy. But you do have to check the receipt. I find it clever that you don’t have to scan anything and the cameras pick up what you buy and your Amazon credit card is charged when you swipe to exit. It’s pretty easy.

Went there for the first time today. Scanned my Amazon in-store code, entered the gate, placed items in my cart, then scanned to exit. Prices seemed good. $2.99 for a gallon of milk is cheaper than elsewhere. I was a little confused because I didn’t get a receipt or any acknowledgment that I had paid. When I got home I saw that my Amazon card had been charged. It certainly is a easy way to shop.
