You reach the Georgetown public library almost immediately on Wisconsin and reservoir. A little depressing, though. Turn left and go up Wisconsin a little and you get to a nice Starbucks. Turn right and go down the hill on Wisconsin and there are quite a few options: compass coffee is the classic laptop work option. Also patisserie poupon, back patio at Christophe boulangerie, capital one cafe, and if you go even further toward the waterfront, grace street coffee and the dog tag bakery. If you hate walking up hills catch any 3o-something bus or the circulator going up Wisconsin from the stop near compass coffee. Happy working!

Thank you so much! Do you know if I can get a library card if I don't live in DC?
For a day? No. And no you need to be resident. NP
Thank you. I want to reserve a study room - have a meeting - and they ask for a study card.

But you don’t need a card to sit in a library, only to check out books.
