OP - #2 is PTAC's reason for existing. They exist to give ACPS a pass and let them say that parents support them.

She was super pushy, tried to play gotcha with the APD, was corrected by a parent and made herself look not very smart. My impression was that she is very entitled and pushy and facts aren't a big deal to her.

She legit is incredibly rude and in many interactions I have had with her she’s created these mind numbing, bizarre scenarios. She screams at people in the neighborhood on the regular. Her identity is so enmeshed with her 2 kids that I am seriously worried what will happen to her when they go off to college. I honestly cannot comprehend how in the world she got her PTAC role. Some people tolerate her bc of her DH’s job. But I do whatever I can to avoid.

I can. She's an excellent continuation of PTAC leadership. It sounds like she's not a stable person, you're right to just avoid.

As far as open meetings, it was a forum not a public body convening to conduct official business (like voting on measures, budgets, etc). Open meetings laws apply in specific instances.

Super proud to have been part of PTAC’s Safety Forum last night! Grateful to our incredible panel of experts and dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to keep our kids safe.

Any discussion about parents who publicly celebrate when their kids attack other kids at school? Hasn't she posted about that on Facebook before too?

She sure has.

She thinks she’s this big celebrity now she’s the PTAC president. She is super annoying.

Do they really think drug possession at school is a mental health problem? (no wonder kids are vaping THC in class) 4. Why does ACPS do 0 gang recognition and intervention training? 5. These officials and parents who cover for them are not just stupid, it’s far more insidious, and our kids are the pawns in a very dangerous game.

#4 is because there are no gangs in ACPS, only "cliques" or crews or whatever they announced when ACHS was shutdown before summer.
