For parents of seniors let your kid decide from heart not the ranking. Our child’s heart wanted to go to UVA but went to top 5 schools based in rankings.
Many if us have been saying choose based upon fit.
I wish more people would put ranking in perspective.
Put ranking into perspective but make sure kid wants to go there. Our child had doubts and once started looking at the rankings got persuaded by it.
Op here. Our child did get into UVA but choose not to go and now wants to transfer. Hopefully UVA doesn’t take it this into consideration. We are very stressed along with our child. Suddenly when as a parent you get a text that guys I have tried and I am not happy here the college rankings doesn’t matter.
