I was a bike mechanic for a summer and my grip strength has been amazing since then. Just use tools to repair things around the house on a regular basis, garden, tune up your bike / guitar / car / whatever, and you’d be amazed how much all those little bits add up.

This is maybe the best exercise overall for your body

Lol no. I do this exercise daily and it’s a great reflection of how well the other exercise (plus diet) is working, but not a replacement for anything.

When I had a significant injury that resulted in loss of all grip strength, I used resistance activities. Amazon has grip strength trainers.

Lift weights. Also yoga. I am shocked how strong my grip is these days after restarting both a few months ago.

There are two types of strength. Finger or forearm.

Finger involves special "rubber bands" of varying resistance. Google it

Forearm strength as the above posters suggests requires gripping. More forearm strength is achieved with fat gripping. Buy "fat grips" to put on some 30-50 dumbbells. Hold them for as long as possible. If you are a guy, then use heavier weights. If you use fat grips every 2 days for a month or two, your forearms will increase in size by 20-30% easily.

Any lifting with dumbbells will help and, like the previous poster said, farmer’s carry at the end of every lifting workout.

Do you have weights?

farmers carries

loop a hand a towel around a dumbell, like a U and hold the weight this way for as long as you can

deadlifts, when you come to the top hold the weight there for as long as you can

hang from a bar
