I read the study, have a background in genomics, and while I think it’s a really interesting use of 23&me data, I’m not sure how much impact this will really have for people with dyslexia - they are nowhere near a diagnosis using genomics.

I thought that the association of dyslexia markers with low pain threshold was interesting - my kid with dyslexia has sensory issues that impact her (one of the reasons she goes to OT). The association with ADHD was already known.

Imagine (almost) knowing that your child might have dyslexia even before they go to school. Amazing.
