this is a deal breaker for me. I looked up a church on the street behind mine when I moved to the area, thinking I might check it out, and the first thing on the "What we believe" FAQ section of their website was clarification that their membership has different opinions on whether Halloween is "of the devil." That one thing said so much to me. I instead found a nice friendly church that completely ignores Halloween

Same. Our church hosts a trunk or treat in the parking lot. This year it is Sunday afternoon, the day before Halloween.

I lived in Carly, NC in the 1990's, The local evangelical and Catholic churches went full on with hating Halloween.

We were left pamphlets every Halloween how we were going to hell etc....

Then on Halloween, they came to the doors. They were horrific...

No, my episcopal church growing up did a haunted house in the church basement every year as a fundraising event. It was super fun.

Not a church, but we are Orthodox Jewish and do not celebrate Halloween. We leave our lights on and give candy to kids who knock on our door.

No, progressive Presbyterian. We give out candy and trick or treat on Halloween. Also decorate our house.
