Simmer for hours on low heat with salt pork or fat back. Not very healthy, but delicious.

I steam/shallow boil them in stock and let it evaporate to concentrate the flavor. Once tender add butter and either garlic or lemon zest or both for a quick sauté.

We like them that way or more like a Chinese restaurant where they’re all blackened and soft and amazing but I’ve not been able to recreate that very well.

These Turkish green beans are super tasty. I serve with yogurt marinated chicken kebabs.

They go well with overcooked tomatoes.

Dry fry them. Szechuan style green beans.

Until they get used to the flavor, you pretty much need to go with butter and salt. Once they like them well enough you can go with the healthier flavoring.

Air fryer with some oil salt and pepper until blistered. My kids (and I) also like them straight from a can.

I like them cut French style (not as tough), steamed and drained, then toss with sautéed sliced almonds (not slivered) in butter. Easy. Delicious.

I don't like them in olive oil or lemon. The taste of the green beans is too harsh for me when combined with the acidic lemon and too....something with the olive oil. I only mention this in case this might be the same with your family.

Mix with sliced sausage or kielbasa, diced sweet potato or butter nut squash, add thyme, and bake at 425, for 30-40 minutes. Shake every 10 minutes, and the final 10 minutes of cooking add sliced apples.

Delicious, colorful fall meal

Roast with olive oil, salt and lemon zest. If not worried about cholesterol add a pat of butter and toss with tongues the last 5 minutes. Genuinely delicious!

I love green beans fresh but they're pretty much a flop in my house. I generally steam them and either add lemon juice/salt/almonds, or I've sauteed them with garlic. I used to roast them but no one likes the texture. Any recommendations?
