Families consider that when you have a no-frills fundraiser, it means you’re not going to be asked to donate to an auction or any other fundraisers throughout the year. It’s meant to be a write a check one and done. If you are a family who is not struggling financially, sorry to assume, but most are not struggling in the Taylor District, 25 is definitely on the low side.

My kids attended a Title 1 elementary school in Arlington. We usually donated upwards of $2,000 or so a year. A mixture of cash and in-kind gifts.
