I personally HATE driving w/any warning ⚠️ lights illuminated on my dash.

But perhaps I am just a weirdo.

Electrical tape is a great solution

It’s in the owners manual.

Check your manual because I’m fairly certain Toyota recommends an OCI of 10,000 miles. Lots of high quality synthetics from Mobil, Pennzoil and Castrol. Check BITOG (BobIsTheOilGuy.com) forums.

Esp since it’s $100 each time.

Someone else mentioned googling it and it should work to manually do it - pretty simply - for free.

I reset mine myself using the internet for instructions. Then I went to Jiffy Lube based on when I knew I was near the appropriate mileage for synthetic oil and they told me it was too soon to change the oil. After some discussion I finally realized they were going by the electronic calculation, I told them I reset it myself, they didn't seem to understand what I was talking about and just kept saying you don't need an oil change now. I finally just left. I'll get the oil changed somewhere else.

I get my oil changed fairly regularly. One annoying thing however is that the electronic dashboard in my vehicle will start saying that service is required soon when it is close to the point of when I need an oil change… Based on a three month interval because that’s what my manufacturer recommends. I’ve asked Jiffy Lube if they can bypass that but they said no because they have to do it based on the manufacture recommendations. Is there anything I can do to reset this so I don’t get that warning every 70 days or so? Thanks
