You can't force them to recite it. The Supreme Court has even taken this on. The pledge is weird and I'm surprised it's still recited at all.

My high school was 95% white and no one said the pledge in high school. It was dorky and we were "too cool" for that. Also tired because it was first thing in the morning.

Even 30 years ago we weren't saying it by high school, even though it was recited over the loudspeaker every morning

Reciting the pledge is weird. Have you ever looked around a room where they all have their hands over their hearts reciting the same pledge? It screams cult/Nazis!

I was working at <50 white high nschool school yesterday, and not a single student recite the pledge, they stood up but not a single student recite the pledge. (WORK AS a sub)
I wanted to say something, but I know the moment I say something say I'll be called a Karen.
