I rotate and am trying to better about not wasting so much food. I used to throw away so many half finished bags of snacks because they would go stale before I finished them. Now I try to only open 1 bag of tortilla chips (I eat a ton of hummus, guac, and other dips), 1 other salty snack, 1 type of cookie, 1 type of candy, 1 frozen treat. I also prioritize using up fresh fruits and veggies first which is part of the reason I was wasting so much snack food. Buying food for one is actually pretty challenging when you love food because you want to buy what looks good in the store, but then you have to eat it enough to use it all up.
