I go to the Columbia Life Time (I actually commute there from Annapolis). The childcare has been great for me, and I love the steam room and pools. I used to go to Equinox in DC and then the old 24 Hour Fitness in Annapolis until they discontinued towel service. For me it’s close to as good as Equinox.

I used to belong to Lifetime. It's kids programs made it worth it. I also liked that it was less crowded.

I have visited the gaitherburg and rockville locations a few timea each. Nice gyms, but this year very overpriced. Can get savings if adding 3 or 4 people on the membership, the cost for the 3rd and 4th are much less. Around $40 for the 4th person.

I think that price is absolutely ridiculous. I used to pay $99/month there and I thought that was pricey. Back then, the kids club was really poorly managed so if you plan to use that, ask a lot of questions.

Foundation Fitness off Bestgate across from mall. Nothing fancy but great staff, never crowded and good mix of people.
