Possibly, but the original tweet says he "allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat". I don't see that happening in the video. I am not arguing that the guy shouldn't be charged, just that the reports of what happened should be accurate.

The tweet reported what the victim claims. How is that not accurate?

Why would they release him after he assaulted someone? Sounds dangerous.

DC has a lot of deputy mayors, they're like cabinet secretaries. This guy is deputy mayor for public safety, which is police and fire, so this is kind of a big deal.

He has a shady past. Multiple women have accused him of sexual harassment. A real dirt bag. My husband used to work with him. Left his pregnant wife for another woman.
